One of the most economical ways to deal with an aging diesel engine is performing an overhaul. A properly maintained engine should be able to receive several major overhauls in its lifetime, giving you years of use out of your vessel/equipment. During the rebuild process, your engine is completely disassembled and cleaned. This is done so that all the components can be properly assessed for reuse or if deemed necessary, replaced. Determining which existing parts are in serviceable shape is crucial to saving you money during your engine’s overhaul. Hydraulic System Repair
LAC Services offers insightful troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic systems and components, including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, fittings, and hoses. Whether it’s a hydraulic pump that needs a seal replaced or a hydraulic cylinder that is not working properly, our technicians can perform the repairs quickly and effectively on-site or at our state-of-the-art facility. LAC Services has machining capabilities to produce and manufacture custom cylinders.
MSD Tank Cleanout and Repair
A marine sanitation device (MSD) is a piece of machinery or a mechanical system that is dedicated to treat, process, and/or store raw, untreated sewage that can accumulate onboard water vessels. LAC Services provides a full range of services and upkeep for MSD tanks from pump out and inspections, electrical troubleshooting, and complete replacement. LAC Services is licensed through the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and is a certified waste hauler.
Generator Repair
The engine is the most important machine in your vessel. If the engine stops functioning, you are not going anywhere. A vessel’s generators are equally important. The generator powers the vessel’s lighting, air conditioning, galley, and all other electronic systems. That is why it is essential that both these machines are regularly maintained, repaired, and if needed, rebuilt. LAC Services performs marine engine and generator repairs as well as complete rebuilds.
Hydraulic Hoses

Our technicians build custom hoses in house to me every customer’s need.
Tank Truck and Dock Transfer Hoses
LAC Services offers custom made tank truck, chemical, stainless steel braided, composite hoses, and lay flat discharge hoses up to 8” in diameter with any fittings desired. All hoses will come pressure tested with hose testing certificates.
